Quiz Lady 2023
I thought this was the perfect streaming movie. I don’t think this would’ve been worth the hassle and expense of a ticket and parking and concessions. Loved Sandra Oh playing a character unlike her usual and Awkwafina playing her normal schtick worked well here. Will Ferrell playing a character not unlike his Celebrity Jeopardy pastiche. Very fun unserious movie to put on when you need a distraction

Such a strange movie. I knew it was going to be “bad” but not in this way. The dialogue is so bad and so strange. It’s pseudo intellectual but not even in a way that actual intellectuals speak. No one talks like this. It sounds like they put a script through 2-3 language translations and then translated back to English. There are no stakes but they all act like it’s the end of the world and their lives are supposedly…
