Recommended my folks give this a watch, told my mom it was a very fun and well done body horror if you can look past some of the illogical aspects of it (which she easily can) and to my surprise she didn’t understand what ’body horror’ meant. “I don’t think I like body horror” were her words after the movie ended.

I had already heard horror stories about this movie but decided, against my better judgement, to watch this. As a trans man myself this film grossly misinterprets everything it is to be a transgender man. This film tries to pass off the experiences of many trans men as just simply being a “girl boy” (that’s a direct quote) and that without full surgery you’re still a woman. I was physically sick to my stomach having to watch this film, especially the last half hour. I had to fast forward many scenes. I implore everyone to avoid this movie, even more so if you are trans.
