Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives

this is a challenging, mesmerizing film about people who might (?) be dying and already dead at the same time. uses a kind of cultural magical realism and blends it *incredibly* into a very grounded human story, like the characters truly live and breath it.

also builds up to this sensoral release of an ending that it rly earns.
