I went in with very low expectations but had a lot of fun with Renfield. It’s a bit dumb and over the top but it’s also a blast and entertaining to watch.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023
Is this a nostalgic movie that plays it safe? Absolutely but it was great. It was funny, great animation, the soundtrack was perfect. The casting was great especially Jack Black as Bowser. Will it win awards? Probably not but it was a fun watch.

Artemis Fowl 2020
So unbelievably disappointing. I don’t even know where to begin. There was constant narrating and exposition dumps, cringing dialogue, convoluted story and a complete disconnect from the characters. The whole movie I was wondering how anyone, especially creative movie directors, producers and execs, could watch this and possibly give it the green light. This film is an embarrassment to everyone involved in the process of its creation.
