Before Midnight 2013
“I know, I have to admit, right...that I've... I've never been around a bunch of, a bunch of guns, or violence. You know, not really. No political intrigue or, uh, helicopter crash, right? But my life, from my own point of view, has been full of drama, right?”

Magnolia 1999
PTA at the peak of his powers. With a massive runtime, he manages to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The interweaving and complete vulnerability of each character helps create an epic story of what it means to be human. Led by Tom Cruise and John C Reilly’s best performances of their respective careers, Magnolia is an instant classic. If you don’t like this movie, just know… I’m quietly judging you.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story 2007
Wow. Just wow. It’s hard to put into words the feeling you get when you watch a masterpiece like this. This movie does an incredible job capturing the life of the illustrious Dewey Cox. All the way from his haunting origins and troubled life in Alabama, to the well documented drug use, the inspiring protest songs, and finally the seemingly infinite games of catch played with his illegitimate children — this movie truly bears it all. I encourage all aspiring musicians to watch this and take notes. Mailboxes really do drip like lampposts in the twisted birth canal of the coliseum.
Thank you Dewey, thank you.
