Stunning colors and cinematography. Every voice actor hit it out of the park, and the score was gorgeous. I’ll be thinking for a long time about the robot who thought kindness was a survival skill.

From start to finish, I was completely enraptured by the hidden tragedy of this story, and I am bursting at the seams with excitement for part two. Ariana killed every single scene she was in, and the usage of color and motifs is something I want to sit down and analyze for hours. The choreography was mesmerizing, and the songs just as enchanting as they are on a real stage. The totally straight friendship between Glinda and Elphaba has my whole heart, and I cannot wait for more

Justroll Timberlake and Anna Trolldrick save Floyd Sivan from Amy Schumer, and I was entertained the entire way through.

One of my favorite things about these movies is that everything in the background looks like it was made of craft store materials, with water made of beads, grass made of felt, etc. It’s so stylized and really makes the whole movie feel even more colorful and soft.

I’m usually not a fan of jukebox musicals, and this one wasn’t anything…
