When Evil Lurks 2023
For the first hour this movie wasn't doing much for me, some brutal sequences and moments but nothing crazy. Right around the hour and 7 minutes mark this thing got GOOD! I was hooked for the rest of the movie! The characters still pissed me off though.

I can't remember a movie that pays off as amazingly as this one did. The climax/end of the film is breathtaking. I was terribly immersed the entire time by the filming, acting, score, effects etc... I would love to be swept away by a film like this again, but I think it will be a while till anything comes close.
