thinking about how deepak practically living in a graveyard, shovelling the dead for a living never had death really shape him until he faced it personally, but also how you never really die unless you’re truly forgotten. you’re alive as long as the the last person lives to remember you. followed by the very act of throwing the ring away, which released him from the residue grief that lived inside him.
