  gorgeous, devastating, and tender. the symbolism, dialogue, and lighting is soooo good. the story is beautifully written out, and the acting is amazing. i especially loved the symbolism with food, and how kevin ended up being a chef. it just tied the narrative together so seamlessly, it was a really well-done full circle moment, and the movie overall feels like it was crafted with perfection

  this movie was so well done and the ending left me speechless. while marketed and set up as a revenge movie, the humanization of preston, the ending, and the depth of the plot + characters subverts the “epic queer revenge story” frame they set up in the beginning. i will say, some of the violence and mistreatment towards Jules was excessive and made it hard to watch at times, but besides that i would consider it a good watch.
