The great scaredy cat conundrum: I wouldn't have been able to watch this movie if I hadn't read the Wikipedia page first but oh my GOD can you imagine going into this not having a clue?! Nothing but support for my second favorite member of the Whitest Kids U Know.

Preferred this over "National Treasure" in the grand ranking of Nicolas Cage movies. The ending was definitely unearned (lol) but I guess I appreciate the commitment. Given how much chemistry Cage has with the dude who plays his local con buddy over the pharmacist, I'd give this a higher rating if they'd leaned more into the homoeroticism.

I think it just comes down to the fact that stimulants are more fun than electric shocks. Also, this feels so mean compared to the first one!! Just mean-spirited.
