An admirable action-comedy that manages to deliver some thrills, surprises and fun for its very modest budget. Pretty entertaining movie all things considered, shouldered as usual by Robert Pattinson’s phenomenal acting ability. I think the thing that really takes it down for me is the narration element used in the movie. From a director that excels at showing rather than telling, it feels like a lot of this story is told instead of shown. But it’s reliably entertaining, well-paced and visually arresting for sure. Production design is what stands out here, I mean you feel fully transported to this alien, futuristic world without skipping a beat. Really solid time.
