The tired premise at the beginning (apocalyptic disaster looms; white man has to somehow get from A to B to find his estranged wife and child) made me fast forward quickly through at least the first 25 minutes after the opening scene: yawn, zombie killing, let's get to the story etc etc.
Not one of the greatest Stephen King films by a long shot.
However, the 'genocide' scene was pretty disturbing and well thought out, and something that's not tackled…Translated from by
