from the get go, the “branding” of this movie was strong and I knew I would like it, I don’t recall ever watching a trailer or really knowing much about it and I think I did myself a favor by being in the dark with this. in simple terms, if you took a silence of the lambs esque story filmed it through a william egleston lens and multiplied the dread, there lies longlegs.
