Filmed in stream of consciousness. Really raw and captivating dialogues which depict the different faces of a marriage, of an individual’s character, their flaws and virtues….a little out dated, felt disjointed in some parts. I was most taken by the scenes shared between John Marley and Gena Rowlands, and found the secondary plot line and characters less compelling.

Oppenheimer 2023
Beautiful cinematography- visuals, soundtrack, acting, the lot. However did not explore nearly enough the devastating and horrifying repercussions of dropping the atomic bomb on Japanese civilians. I felt as if Nolan romanticised and victimised Oppenheimer- making him out to be a humble, weak individual, clueless to the consequences of his own actions.
