I don't think this is a good movie, but I do think it's a very fun movie.
I don't think it's a good movie because it just can't decide whether or not it's willing to be a tragedy. Emblematic of this is, I think, the ending. I believe with all my heart that the peace parade scene, the FINAL scene, is the worst scene in the film. It's just pointless, and only serves to undercut the emotion of Qui-Gon's funeral,…
