The performances in non-Korean languages were atrocious. I don’t understand why it’d be hard for them to get actual actors fluent in English or Cantonese to deliver their lines well? Why did I get the feeling that they got a bunch of Korean actors to play Hong Kongers?
A similar experience to watching The Host and some other Korean dramas, the foreign cast had pretty important lines but the poor delivery really took me out of the world they were supposed to be building. I wonder why the Korean film industry seems to struggle so much with casting foreign talent…
