A tragic act of violence and genuinely devastating portrayal of pain in its wake. It feels like Jamie miller could be anyone’s child—that’s a big part of what makes it feel so terrifying and real.
Listening to Carl Sagan was life changing for me. His project not only made science accessible to the public, but he made it incredibly beautiful and life-affirming too. Our bodies are made of star stuff… what a magnificent fact, what a magnificent existence
Good performances but ultimately uninspired. The ending is just bad. Maybe I’m a cynic, but a movie about forgetting abetting abuse feels out of touch with the cultural moment: the abusers in our culture don’t feel shame, they aren’t hiding, and they’re certainly not apologizing.
Something a film student would like. Painful to watch, boring, and brutal. Maybe just for the aficionados
