This was like Synecdoche New York combined with The Substance. Also some David Lynch vibes with the dialogue being slightly off and generally just being confused what’s going on.
You can be perfectly handsome, but if you’re a bad vibe, you still won’t get girls.

If you take out all of the stuff about Hanuman and the Ramayana, then I can accept that this is just an Indian version of John Wicke.
However, because the movie is using the story of Hanuman to help flesh out its themes, I can’t help but feel like this was a missed opportunity to provide a more thoughtful reflection on the rich meaning of the Ramayana.

I really appreciated how understated and subtle this was. I will say it did require a level of patience to be enjoyed. It wasn’t overly dramatic, the dialogue wasn’t perfectly crafted, but there was a realism in this movie that felt authentic.
