  So weird and creepy. Very good but just like disturbing a little bit, but not as disturbing as I thought going into it. So weird tho. The scene with the in-laws was the creepiest scene to me.

  Travis has wandered out of the desert after he disappeared for four years. The first half of the movie is when Travis has to reconnect with his son, and brother and fit back into society. The second half is when the movie really kicks in when Travis and his son go to find his wife in Houston. The movie climaxes in one of my favorite scenes of all time, the famous phone scene. There is such a relaxing yet so uneasy feeling present throughout the film. The movie truly encapsulates American culture and is a beautifully shot film. 5 stars, Cole approves!
