Se7en 1995
This film was absolutely incredible, the grade A of thrillers. I was on my seat the entire time and although I saw the twist coming, it was still amazing. Kevin Spacey delivered a terrifyingly realistic performance and really made the movie. There were multiple horrific scenes that were far scarier than most things I’ve seen from horror movies. The gluttony and sloth deadly sins were disgusting and showed how depraved the murderer, John Doe really was. I like to think John Doe sorta inspired the riddler in the 2021 Batman movie. Great acting, great plot, great lighting, and a terrifying mood; absolutely amazing.

My personal favorite fantasy film and the best of the lotr trilogy. This movie has fantastic cinematography, scale, and epic battles. It is a movie with enough action to be enjoyed by the young, while also having fantastic acting and plot. The battle of Minas Tirith was simply amazing and I have always loved the inclusion of the Oliphaunts as I felt they really emphasized the massive scale of the battle. It could really only be topped by Aragorn leading the ghost soldiers into battle as the rightful king.

Easily the most impactful and meaningful film I’ve ever watched. One that definitely deserves to be my favorite film of all time. I believe everyone should watch this for a multitude of reasons. Firstly the premise is very unique and real, the concept and morality of eugenics has long been debated and I believe this film shines light onto what the harmful effects might be.
