  Why did I watch this.
  It was very much a cheesy rom-com movie making fun of a Christmas Hallmark movie. It had the excellent comedic timing with all of the jokes and quips. The romantic parts of the movie were very corny. Ryan Reynolds was the right level of cheesy in the movie without being "Jim Carrey" level of over the top.
  Also why does Ryan Reynolds beat up children in this movie? I mean, I get the whole siblings rivalry and the kids at the ice rink, but why so much?
