An incredibly heartfelt and thoughtfully made movie. I loved the pacing, it never felt like it was wasting time and gave the characters time to naturally develop and change. The animation is gorgeous, it has a clear message but never feels like it's talking down to the audience, and it has some genuinely moving sequences. The only strike against it is the third act where it falls into the cliche of a big final battle, which felt jarring and out of place. Cut out the third act, and this is an easy 5/5. Still absolutely worth a watch for all ages.
