Late to my review but here we are. After sitting on this film for a few days I am simply amazed. A story of a brutalist architects transition to the United States would have never crossed my mind. The music and cinematography are amazing. First few shots of the Statue of Liberty gave me chills. With a runtime over 3 hours. The film is well worth a watch. Felt authentic, you can tell true film passion was put behind every scene. Definitely will be rewatching this.

Super slow movie. Cinematic journey tho, with thought into every shot. From window glares, to car shots, handwashing. All perfect. The movie has you piece together a “jigsaw” of a story. With an open ended finish. The message was amazing. Definitely gonna read the book. Blew me away.

Get caught up on your 1900s history of the Catholic Church and the film will make perfect sense to you.

Very amazing acting from Jamie foxx. I always love Christoph Waltz, he’s an absolute legend. Honestly tho, one of the weaker performances from Quentin Tarantino. The movie didn’t really grab my attention fully. But still a good watch.

Quentin Tarantino will always be one of the goats. I’m a little younger so It takes time to get around to the “older” movies. You are not gonna predict what happens, this movie is an absolute trip and I love it. Script is pure gold. This is what I call a movie.
