Wonka 2023
A very enjoyable movie. I’m a big fan of Willie Wonka, who is an optimist by default, and since I often see the world as a realist and a doubter, it’s always fun to watch a movie where the bad circumstances just happen to turn out for good and much more, where Wonka achieves his dreams and the bad guys get what’s coming for them. It’s puts a little childlike hope into my soul again. The songs are pretty fun too. I used to be scared of Wonka (that Johnny Depp one) but not anymore.

2001: A Space Odyssey 1968
The ultra slow pace of this movie is actually refreshing and there are some pretty cool scenes, specifically the drawn out sequence of colored lights that Dave finds himself in when he reaches Jupyter. The visual effects and soundtrack are good as well. The only problem here is that the whole plot makes no sense at all, and you end up sitting through 2 and a half hours of sorta cool nonsense.
