The Substance 2024
Objectively a good film; but I hate body horror. So overall nightmarish!
That being said I really liked the commentary about how yearning for objective youth deprives you of your life and subjective youth in the present. And of course how that pressure is particularly immense for women.

It’s Barbie…and it’s great. This movie lived up to expectations and I think met people where the majority is when it comes to critiques of the society we live in and the very real pressure the patriarchy places on all of us - not just women.
