Black Girl 1966
The importance alone of this film is undeniable and the strong symbolism speaks echo’s throughout its duration. While the themes are spoken about in almost a documentary style on real events , unfortunately I feel as if this subject matter could’ve been expanded on and if not in this film then I’m curious to see the direct inspiration in later Sub-Saharan Films.
