Watched this a few weeks ago and thought it was gonna be kinda like Rocky and I’d heard it was great. Was not expecting it to be the saddest movie of all time. Thankfully I went and saw Moana 2 with my family right after to pick up my mood cause man this movie will leave you feeling empty inside after.
Performances all incredible. Great movie, really, but I fundamentally disagree with the movie’s messaging and I hated the ending, so 3 stars
Saw this in theaters back when it released, but just rewatched it for the first time.
You cannot say enough about this movie. It and its performances deserved- no, justly demanded- every Oscar it won. It is the definition of a masterpiece. This is a Mona Lisa, and Nolan is the greatest director of our generation.
If you have not seen this movie, put it at the top of your watchlist. It may not be one of your personal favorite…
