Dano is creepy as shit and the motive of the villains is unbelievably haunting.
Trying to watch every Nolan film, and this was a pretty strong start. I understand the storytelling behind a story moving through memory, but I didn’t resonate much with it. The acting was just good and the twist at the end was not too intriguing for me. This movie may be a bit overrated but I understand why it’s a great one in different eyes.
This movie is nothing but a Chris Pratt centered mess of a movie. The idea of this movie was that Pratt is an A-list actor so let’s watch him save the world and be a badass. There’s tons of action and some high tense scenes which most likely make you feel puzzled. But yeah there’s not much to say except the action was cool. Plot was all mediocre with some cool concepts, yet poor execution. I would not watch this movie again.
With this being the first Villeneuve film I’ve seen, I was definitely overwhelmed with emotion throughout its entirety. The cinematography was near the best I have seen and Amy Adams delivered a spectacular performance.
