It was...strange
David Lynch really manages to create horror films without meaning to. The aesthetics of this short film are in a class of their own. A sort of pilot to Inland Empire, a mini-version. Ghostly music, a fixed camera, very few cuts and raw sound. The image is "dirty", pixelated and unclear.

I never thought of watching him interrogate a gangster monkey, and yet it was brilliant. Lynch as Lynchian as ever.
I will truly miss this man forever, a true artist, a character and a creator of the unreal. His works will mark me forever.

I really like the film's atmosphere, with its superbly colorful sets and costumes, and great music. The actors (especially the actresses) are very good, and the white actors are very good at showing this oppression, especially through their eyes.
