  I really hoped it’d be more fun, but there’s just no grit to this. There’s more grit in Connor O’Malley’s “Irish Mob” video. A poor man’s The Departed; far too derivative. Sadly, my triple feature was a failure, and I only lasted 30 min.

  I disagreed fundamentally with nearly every choice this movie made, and it was a slog to sit through. However, it did provide me with some of the funniest moments (intentionally and unintentionally) I’ve seen in a movie this year.

  Yes, I did spend my Friday night watching all 3 hours of Barry Lyndon. Does that make me interesting? No. Does that make me cool? Certainly not. But, man, what a picture. The most visually stunning movie I’ve ever seen bar none.  I get it’s 3 hours, and if that’s too long, you can always just watch the Barry Lyndon x “a lot” by 21 Savage Edit online.
