So basically… one of the best films of 2023
And I’ve been asking myself everyday since watching, where the hell is Talia’s Oscar???
Subjectivity aside, it was a really moving film about the “American dream” and how it’s decay resides in loss of desire and submission… phew

I will give this movie credit for one thing and one thing only:
The soundtrack.
For some reason, they were able to cop Dominic Fike and a newly discovered on-repeat artist Kate Bollinger… didn’t understand why they played Troye Sivon in a clearly straight rom-com :/
The acting was bad, it was cheesy asf, and I’m so sorry I love Sydney Sweeney but she just isn’t a rom com girly to me
