Anatomy of a Fall 2023
Cannot get enough of Sandra Hüller. She carried this movie HARD. Great writing but also maybe a little long. The lack of resolution was a little frustrating but I kinda don’t think she did it.

The Zone of Interest 2023
Did I enjoy watching this? No. But it was beautifully made, well shot, well acted, well edited. The sound was the most important part of the film and it was so affecting. Sandra Hüller is here to stay, I hope! There is nothing new or original to say about its relevance to the present moment, but indeed it IS a movie about the present and not the past.
