  I know this movie had a lot of backlash but, as a woman who has gone through this stage of preteen life, I thought it was really beautiful. It does capture what it feels like to be a little girl and sometimes it is uncomfortable which I think was the point of a lot of the “cringe” scenes. It really does suck that there are so many pedophiles in this world. So much to the point where a thought provoking movie was turned into cesspool for pedophiles. It really does suck that sick humans destroyed a movie made by a woman about girls and their experiences.
