I loved this moving growing up, dancing in my seat. DID NOT KNOW HOW STACKED THIS CAST WOULD TURN OUT TO BE!  Plane watch.

Childhood's end. A beautiful story of innocence lost during WWII. I loved how this film moved - going from room to room, around the school creating little moments with character details in the kitchen, kids beds, communal outside space. Films shot in different eras reveal a lot of things specific to that time period, but depictions of teenage boys during adolescence remains consistent up until now – sensitive, mean, insecure, alert, smarmy, impressionable, compassionate at times – movable.

Huge fan of Garrett Bradley as an artist and storyteller. This is another documentary where it feels like the director loves their subject so sincerely and deeply that we as an audience quickly do too. I loved watching how this doc series undulated between Naomi Osaka's self-commentary and observation, to the camera/director observing her too. So smoothly and poetically was this done. hurray!
