12 Angry Men 1957
One of the best, so good it’s forcing me to write my first film review. The ability to move a story off of pure dialogue and tension rather than action is not seen too often, or executed as effectively as this. Each of the twelve characters has their own personality traits which are clearly shown through dialogue. Each one has a completely different character arc. You could watch this movie with your eyes closed and still get the same feeling, although that knife scene is badass (same with Henry Fonda).
