The music is pissing me off. What is so theatrical, epic, grandiose and jolly about the unconsciousable tortures imposed upon women in the misogynistic and violent medieval campaigns against "witchcraft"?
Even though the last 20 mins finally attempts to analyse the European patriachal cultural response to "witchcraft" by briefly assessing how women were (and are) oppressed through systematic persecution: it does not provide nearly enough critique or analysis or even satire to disrupt the uncomfortable and frustrating viewing experience.

This film is so fucking stupid and goofy. It definitely has it's intended audience and I sincerely hope it reaches that audience.
The actions scenes are really good.
The scene where they dance using the colourful smoke grenades and the skating on oil - both whilst shooting the shit out of mfs like they're trying to upgrade their K/D ratio - is so much fun. You can tell that Bryce Dallas Howard is having the time of her life with her role.Also, wtf is Alex Hunter doing here??
