The credits played and I paused the movie realising that I wasn't dreaming for the whole 2 hours... I want a lobotomy. I'll give it credit for a couple of cool ideas and scenes. Brat cunty lesbian ripley slays hard too regardless of the fact that she was forced into the film for obvious reasons. Also the penultimate kill is cool as fuck idc if it's goofy. The film is also super creepy and gross in regards to how the…

A visually beautiful film that uses, "every frame is a painting" literally, but it is also a fascinating insight into youth, faith and family. A must watch for film buffs as isn't super accessible with the slow pace and heavy emphasis on complex exploration of its themes.

A lot of people love or hate this film, I'm of the latter group, this movie just spits in the face of this iconic franchise through logic and storytelling, a positive I guess would be the visual effects but there'd truly be no hope (never even a new one, har... har... that was very forced) considering the behemoth of a budget, apart from that, it's a waste of time to be honest.

It's a 5 star movie in every regard. The fast paced, choppy editing as a staple of edgar wright's films partnered with fun zooms and pivots in the cinematography, again a staple of wright's films, along with great sound design and soundtrack and great varying performances from many experienced and well-versed actors make for the most entertaining and unique zombie film ever made and the reason edgar wright is my all time favourite director, what at first glance seems to be just a silly self aware comedy is at the same time quite a wholesome (but at times dark) film too.
