Knots are a horrible unit of measurement for measuring the velocity of a vertical descent!

This is one of the best comedies of all time; High-Budget B-Movie perfection. At one point, its protagonist says something like they “Hate the Goddamned Sky”. It’s so fast paced and parody-esque in its formula, that it magically perfects at the same time as being worryingly sincere.

The whole thing is just one massive oxymoron.

The score is superb, and fascinatingly overly epic, every moment.…

An obnoxious charactersicle stick who doesn't have an early redeemable moment to justify their exhausting personality block slightly improves over one of the longest 96 minutes of my life, to the most bland fashion, as is the par.

That's not a review, that's the summary. There's nothing to say about 'airplane mode' (2020); It is what it is: A thoughtlessly greenlit Netflix drama; Of a kind.

I uh... I don't think I watched the movie. It's so goddamned boring. It begs not to be watched. I don't remember anything having happened. I'm just tired.

Simon Pegg once suggested that any and every review should open with the critic declaring what happened in their day prior to watching the film. I really respect that opinion.

Whilst watching this film, I was receiving some harsh news about peoples' negative opinions of my work, and my own person, and having deep internet troubles, where the film was only playing fractions of a second bites, every minute.

Which is why I think it only fair a full 5 stars is appropriate.
