I have more thoughts on this than I could skillfully put into words. Moonlight Whispers is so uncomfortable and harsh but it's just as tender and heart-warming. This is less a depiction of kink than it is a thoughtful exploration of relationship dynamics as a whole. What can look love look lke aside from what we were tought to expect? Is there such a thing as true selflessness? Who has the upper-hand here?

Blue is such a quiet movie that its emotional core kind of sneaks up on you. It barely has a soundtrack and even the dialogue seems to be minimal. When people actually do speak, the conversations can feel almost trivial. “Do you always eat sandwiches for lunch?” “Do you like art?”
