Generally I’m a fan of documentaries that “out” con men/women or grifters or frauds. Micheal Organ definitely fits the bill. But this film builds without any real payoff. There is no “gotcha” moment. It’s just frustrating there’s no real justice here. The bad guy kinda wins.

It is just one of those movies I watched at a seminal time in my childhood (I was 9 and parents gave 0 F’s back in the 80’s). It has so many great moments, including a great, though farfetched, climactic battle “where two stood against many.”
