It was a really fun mystery thriller that had me thinking for a long time about who the culprit was. Worst anime movie I’ve ever seen. I’m truly blown away by how much time they managed to suck with the most basic plot devices that they continually reuse over and over again.
This movie follows this repetition of: humans are incompetent and need saving, so Ains saves them. It was okay the first time, but they just repeat this at least 4 times… There is no tension during any battle scene that Ains continually draws out for no reason whatsoever…

I will bracket my review by saying that I know nothing about the life of Bob Dylan and only knew a few songs by him coming into the movie. As a result, much of the songs did not hit an emotional chord with me that I think musician biopics often resort to with the exception of “Like a Rolling Stone” at the very end of the movie.
