Cube 1997
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I got talked into watching this film by my brother and was expecting loads of gore and horror but it was actually pretty tame!! Happy about that and I liked the twists but all in all it's not a film I would watch again. It went by pretty fast but not because it was that exciting but just because nothing really stuck with me and it wasn't thaaaat entertaining either. But I would watch the other Cube films! And it was admittedly really cool how they depicted the rapid decline of Quentin's mental faculties.

Not me crying over fictional dragons, not me (10/10)

The Thing 1982
Only one jumpscare and nothing too horror-y! To see what they managed to pull off without CGI was super impressive, really cool, and definitely a bit funny as well (the blood test scene was hilarious). The only thing I didn't like was how weirdly the movie was cut imo; jumping from one scene to another without having really finished the one before and having time go by super arbitrarily was not for me.
But how glorious was Kurt Russell's hair?! Phenomenal, 10/10 just for that
