I'm glad at least future Academy award nominee Guy Pearce was having fun.
He needs a better action movie to be in besides Luc Besson's Space Prison Die Hard Demolition Man featuring Maggie Grace as the President's daughter because Taken was really popular (at least here she's not trying to fake play a teenager).
Largely this is a very pathetic sci-fi action movie that is also fairly sanitized even in the Unrated version this feels PG-13.

My expectations were below level knowing this is from the director of Mindcage. That was an awful Se7en/Silence of the Lambs aping Lionsgate VOD title with Martin Lawrence and John Malkovich.

Just so beautiful I won't complain about it being an unfinished story with a to be continued sign at the end of it.
This animation I swear its putting Puss in Boots: The Last Wish to shame. And that movie had pretty stellar animation. It's making Super Mario Bros' animation look lackluster.
