really stunning and interesting film acting from andrew scott was gorgeous and paul mescal, the themes of having parents confused or confronted with your sexuality was particularly important to me and resonated a lot also a dad that can’t say i love you? me af? gay alcoholic? me af? but i did feel slightly trapped in the film and that the ending didn’t satisfy some questions i had throughout. felt a tiny bit too much like a play for my personal taste but still a beautiful film!
