Industrial Light and Magic does some crazy vfx - I think it was them anyways.
I love Hugo Weaving.
Michael Bay did the explosion thing.
Also Dwight Shrute and Jesus from The Big Lewbowski are the best part of this movie.

I don’t know how this managed to slip my top films list, and how I only had this a 4 stars. I don’t have to say anything- it’s peak.
Fucking hell this is one of the worst fucking things I’ve ever seen in my life.
I came for Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder and, they’re probably the only two good things in the film, but I wouldn’t know because I turned it off half an hour into it - and I’m surprised I made it that far.
This is an awful depiction of the book. The intro to this film just fucking speeds through important and really cool parts…
Really awesome film overall.
It think that it had a very interesting, unique and terrifying depiction of a UFO.
I like the whole thing about being scared a horror movie monster that you don’t see, or hardly see. It reminds me of films such as Predator and Alien which have my favourite ways of depicting Alien life as horror monsters.
There was cool and scary things to discover throughout watching of the film and it was really good. There was heaps of times when I was on the edge of my seat watching this.
