  All Quiet on the Western Front 2022

  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a film establish a group of characters and then never explore their dynamic at all. The bit at the farm tried to do that and then it feels like they got scared and remembered its a war film.

  I don’t even think cinematically it was that engaging and certainly had no right being 140 minutes long for the story it told.

  If you want something more visually engaging, watch Dunkirk. If you want characters, watch Hacksaw Ridge.

  I can watch Inland Empire or Avatar 2 and feel just as fulfilled either way

  3. Touch Up Up and Away

  I moved the staircase to the caves to a small basement downstairs, this being decorated with deepslate, spruce and the lanterns, these aren’t particularly new, but they still feel new to me and I really like them I want to use these more. I also put some chests down here though I doubt they’ll be used.

  It was now time to find somewhere to settle, build a place for my own and not myself…
