Parasite 2019
Insanely good must watch. Korean, more modest version of Saltburn with a focus on the wealth vs. poverty dichotomy. Never had a clue how it was gonna end the entire time and the movie only got more intense towards the end. For anyone on anxiety meds, pop an extra pill before watching.

Seven Years in Tibet 1997
Watched on the plane and lowkey wish I downloaded a different movie. Wasn’t terrible just the plot was melodramatic at points and felt like there was no direction in the storyline. I feel movies like this that span longer timeframes struggle to focus on the details of the characters because the focus becomes the progression of plot. Out of pocket role for Brad Pitt but I rocked with it.

The Pursuit of Happyness 2006
Loved it but this one’s a heavy hitter. There’s very little comedic relief so get ready to feel the real life struggle Will Smith goes through. Definitely some wisdom to takeaway. Only thing is I wish there was more to the ending but is the “pursuit of happiness” and not the happiness part.
