I like when characters feel believable.
She is manipulative and selfish yet we uncover with dialogue (with out it being explicitly shared) and acting that it comes from a place of self-conciousness were she clearly needs validation. She's flawed for sure but has moments were she wonders if she's doing the right thing to indicate that she's not totally bad (just needs a good shoving). It's realistic that she ends up not winning the man because she's lost her chance.…
The Saw franchise would be considerably better if they focused a little less on the detective parts and figured out a way to make us have stronger emotions towards some of the characters in the group traps. That way we would be relieved if someone we were rooting for lived or gutted if they died.
We figured out the formula to the films ages ago so we need better surprises and a tiny bit more consideration into how everything unfolds.…

Disorientating. Unsettling. Sickening. Twelve minutes of "what the fu-" and yet I couldn't peel my eyes away from every turn, every repeated detail and newly revealed one.
The song in the distance sounding through broken and rain soaked walls, the creaking of footsteps, flashlight aimed in the darkness at old photographs and rotten dolls was deeply disturbing and added to a fear factor deeply rooted in the bones.
It felt like I wasn't supposed to be there, this horror was supposed to be kept in an evidence locker. And suddenly...
