Anora 2024
The humor hit all the right notes. And while those moments were spot-on and were well balanced with the intense stuff, the pacing was also a bit off, with the middle portion of the film feeling like it dragged on longer than necessary. I also wish we got to know more about the characters. Mikey obviously and absolutely stole the show. The ending was so good. A 3 out of 5 may feel harsh for now but yolo. Okay, I’m done.

This inspired me to watch the first ever episode of SNL so clearly it had somewhat of an impact. I was so confused who was playing who that they almost should have filmed this as a mockumentary. I also don’t even think people who eat and breathe SNL would even really enjoy this…? The guy who played Lorne was pretty good though!
