Wish I could give it like a 3.75.

I always love seeing musicals filmed on stage and not necessarily moved into a full movie aspect.

Overall I enjoyed this.  While I didn’t enjoy everything an onstage production that is filmed can never be too terrible in my opinion.

I need to start by I want to give this a 5 just because of nostalgia and the music of course.

But it has to drop because there were definitely parts of the movie that were strange in the way it was portrayed, plus some of the choreography.

Beside that there were definitely parts that were infuriating to begin with due to Galinda being who she was at the beginning, but there were also parts that were funny.

So the movie….. I have absolutely no clue…

My students that performed in the play by the same name,  amazing!!!

The performance was top notch hilarious! All did amazing….  I saw a fan club for the one and only Prince Charming (was he dead or just unconscious!?).

All the “villains” did amazing (are they villains or just misunderstood?)

Froggy also had some great comedic movements if you were watching!

Overall it was an amazing play…

Apologies to the director of this movie for taking up the space, but my students are more important!

I will say anything WWII related I will watch and devour.  Am I behind with some of it yes, but I had previously watched this and wanted to rewatch.

I enjoyed the acting and the atmosphere that was created.  I enjoyed once again getting to see a portrayal of Churchill at the beginning.  First time watching I enjoyed it a little more, this time I had read “Splendid and the Vile” which provided more depth to Churchill and his entirety…
